• Noel has been around the music scene in Kerry for the past 20yrs. He has played in many of Tralee's best bands. Noel started off his musical career with local band The Production Village a cover band with some original songs mixed in the set. After the band split Noel joined Stellazine a band mainly playing original material. The band played around Munster for a year or two before splitting in 1991. It was about this time he switched from Guitar to Bass Guitar and joined 3 piece outfit Keep the Faith (the name taken from a Georgia Satellites EP not the Bon Jovi album). While playing with Keep The Faith Noel hooked up with Mike Trant a local country singer, so with a mixture of old style country and southern rock music, they formed Hector Pickaxe and the Floating Crowbars and enjoyed moderate success in the early to mid 90's. The band split after 2yrs citing musical difference and the Crowbars became Keep the Faith again. After a year or so Noel joined one of Tralee's favourite bands MIDNITE CAFE playing around the the Kerry area.Noel still enjoys playing with MIDNITE CAFE a writing and recording his own material
